BibFetch is a free Chrome extension developed by leor.develop that provides one-click BibTeX citation fetching for arXiv papers. With BibFetch, users can easily retrieve the BibTeX citation code of the current paper they are viewing on arXiv.
The extension offers a seamless experience by automatically attempting to obtain the citation code from Google Scholar. However, in cases where this fails, BibFetch provides an alternative by copying the arXiv citation code provided by the arXiv API.
It is worth noting that if the extension is used heavily, Google Scholar may block access to the citation codes due to its detection of bot-like behavior. In such cases, users can employ a simple workaround by running a search query in Google Scholar, which triggers an authentication form ("I'm not a bot").
